MONDAY LAMB DEVOTIONAL NUGGET- James (Jacob)

”So listen carefully, my dear brothers and sisters, hasn’t God chosen the poor in the world’s eyes to be those who are rich in faith? And won’t they be the heirs of the kingdom-realm he promised to those who love him? But yet you insult and shun the poor in your efforts to impress the rich! Isn’t it the wealthy who exploit you and drag you into court? Aren’t they the very ones who blaspheme the beautiful name of the One you now belong to?“
‭‭James (Jacob)‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My take: Tough Words through James (Jacob) who was the half brother of Jesus and Pastor of The Church in Jerusalem. By the Holy Spirit he is dealing with what is a main issue even in this modern Church concerning how we should see and treat people. A man's value is not determined by his net worth but by what God was willing to personally pay to redeem him. The precious blood 🩸 of Jesus. Let's see all people through God's eyes.

📖"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.“.     John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
